Accreditations

We work against the regulations FMCSA reviewers grade carriers on.

Documented controls, signed records, audit-defensible trail — built to the same rule books our clients are inspected against.

The engagement

Four stages, one documented record.

Every engagement leaves behind a written record of what we found, what we did, and what we measured. The deliverable is the trail, not the deck.

  1. Stage 01

    Diagnostic

We pull your record from FMCSA SAFER, your CSA from SMS Public, and your inspection history from MCMIS. Two-week diagnostic produces a written gap report keyed to specific 49 CFR Parts — not a generic safety culture critique.

  2. Stage 02

    Remediation plan

Each gap gets a 30 / 60 / 90-day remediation step with a named owner, a deliverable, and a measurable outcome. You see what we will do — and what success looks like — before any retainer signs.

  3. Stage 03

    Execution

DataQ filings, DQ-file rebuilds, drug-and-alcohol program corrections, training rollout through the InfoMax portal, audit-prep dossiers. We ship deliverables on schedule; you sign off on each.

  4. Stage 04

    Standing watch

Quarterly cadence: new violations get worked into the plan, new regs get translated into your policy. The relationship is documented from day one so renewal — or graduation — is your call, not ours.

CASE FILE · ANONYMIZED · MIDWEST LTL

Six months from intervention threshold to audit-cleared.

A 120-unit Midwest LTL carrier reached us with the Unsafe Driving BASIC at 78 — well above the intervention threshold for fleets its size — and a focused HOS audit already on the docket. Three of their top shippers had quietly stopped tendering.

Situation

Two-track exposure: an active FMCSA investigation, and a commercial relationship with major shippers eroding in real time as those shippers pulled SMS Public reports during routine carrier qualification.

Intervention

In the first 30 days we rebuilt 47 driver qualification files to current Part 391 standards, filed 9 DataQ challenges against inaccurate inspection records, and instituted a roadside-inspection coaching cadence keyed to the BASICs that mattered most.

Outcome

Audit closed without a downgrade. Unsafe Driving BASIC fell from 78 to 41 across the next two SMS cycles. Two of three shippers returned to active tendering within the same quarter.

Consulting recommends. The training portal delivers — FMCSA-aligned driver training, AVLT proficiency testing, certificate issuance, and signed completion records routed back to the driver qualification file. One integrated record, not two parallel systems.
